Farmington, MO – September 30th – John Mayfield, owner and instructor of Global Real Estate School and broker of Mayfield Real Estate Inc., has been named the 2025 REALTOR® of the Year by Missouri REALTORS®, a statewide association representing more than 25,000 members.
Each year, this prestigious award is presented to one REALTOR® who best exemplifies “REALTOR® Spirit” — demonstrating faithfulness to the principles of organized real estate, adherence to the laws and regulations of their Association, and dedication to the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS®.
Recipients are recognized not only for their business accomplishments, but also for their leadership, commitment to professional excellence, contributions to civic affairs, and efforts to promote good real estate practices among their peers.
John Mayfield has been a licensed REALTOR® since 1978 and a broker since 1981. Over the course of his career, he has owned and managed multiple offices, trained thousands of aspiring and practicing agents, and earned recognition as an international speaker, educator, and author. Through Global Real Estate School, Mayfield has expanded opportunities for students across the U.S. and internationally, offering innovative real estate education and training programs.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mayfield has consistently given back to the real estate community and his local community, investing time with the press and the public to enhance understanding of the profession, while actively supporting civic initiatives.

The Missouri REALTORS® association selects the REALTOR® of the Year from nominations submitted by Local Boards and Associations across the state. The award represents the highest level of distinction among Missouri’s real estate professionals.
